Kaila started her modelling career when she was 15 years old. At age 21, she won second runner-up and Audience favourite model at Mercedes Benz Model Search. In year 2002 Kaila joined world famous celebrity, the first Asian supermodel Ms. Eliza Wang’s ICM Charm and Modelling School and Agency of Vancouver, where she studied classical etiquette and runway modelling. Upon finishing her training, Kaila was invited by the president of ICM Vancouver as a personal assistant and assistant instructor for Charm and Modelling. During the same year Kaila became a full time model, gracing the stages at various local fashion shows as well as different Medias in Vancouver. At year 2008, Kaila became an acting talent, managed by Showbiz Management. During her free time Kaila fronts Vancouver local singer songwriter band “LOCUS” at their lead vocalist. Kaila joined Borealis Academy in year 2010, teaching both Etiquette and Modelling courses and provides private coaching courses for pageant contestants. Her students had graced the stages of ITM North America Model Search, Miss Universe Canada, Vancouver Fashion Week, Miss Asia Canada, Miss Chinese Vancouver, Fairchild Television Sunshine Nations Idol Contest and various local fashion productions.
